I am a globe-trotting poi dancer and media artist with an international fan base, thanks to the fire-dancing videos I put on my website a few years back (www.playpoi.com). I’m currently finishing up several media projects related to poi, including a DVD and a new website. I have been making my living by hosting poi retreats and teach workshops all over the world.

Communications technology, and how it relates to the awakening global mind, may be my greatest worldly interest. I feel like my ultimate purpose is to play a role in how global consciousness evolves. I’m not so sure anymore *how* that purpose will unfold. My other major interest, movement and the body, has occupied most of my time for the past few years. I will be focusing on communications developments again shortly. The good news is that I now have my own fan base, which opens up a lot of opportunities.

My past pursuits have included creating radio and multimedia works for the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation, writing for magazines, producing and directing plays, publishing my book, Emails from (Over?) the Edge, developing the world’s first smoothie research portal (www.smoothieresearch.org), and pursuing various communications revolutionary shenanigans.
